В его основу положены принципы определения твердости на стационарных твердомерах и результаты ранее выполненного анализа корреляционной зависимости твердости по Моосу от износостойкости материалов. Такие зависимости получены путем измерений хорды сегмента износа, обусловленного врезанием диска в плоский образец, для выборочной совокупности материалов в широком диапазоне значений твердости.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>A new method for assessing the hardness of materials by testing their samples for wear by the chord method (“block-on-ring”) is proposed. It is based on the principles of determining hardness with stationary hardness testers and results of a previously performed analysis of the correlation dependence of Mohs hardness on the material resistance to wear.
