Abstract. Peculiarities of the problem of time-expenditures evaluation for development of numerical control programs for CNC machines are considered. A new method for evaluation of time required to execute orders with a large set of workpieces is proposed. The method takes into account specifics of modern CAM systems and a wide range of CNC metal cutting machines used at enterprises.
