Abstract. The possibilities of using modern computer-added design systems in manufacturing of compact non-standard gears from polymer composite materials are considered. An algorithm is proposed for preproduction computer simulation and visualization of the manufacturing process. Application of the algorithm to manufacturing of two types of non-standard gears is analyzed. Perspectives of implementation of the proposed approach are discussed.
