Abstract. Analysis of scanning systems for frame scanning of laser beam is presented; the use of galvano scanners is justified. Galvanometer scanner operation under PID control at high frequency of scanning is studied. Modeling of this type of scanner considered as a combination of mechanical and electrical systems demonstrates the system response to lag behind the control signal in time, the effect is to be accounted for when the scan of the beam line is performed.
