EFFECTIVENESS OF REDUNDANCY AND PACKET FRAGMENTATION IN TRANSMISSION VIA AGGREGATED CHANNELS

Abstract. The possibilities of increasing the probability of timely error-free delivery of packet with the use of fragmentation and redundant transmission of copies of packets through multiple channels is analyzed. Investigated effectiveness of redundant data transmission at implementation of multiple access to each channel or group of channels that are grouped for parallel transmission of copies of the packets or their fragments is studied.
