PULSE GENERATOR WITH JITTER

Abstract. The methods and devices of generating signals with random phase deviation for checking digital data transmitting and processing systems are described. The authors deal with the device circuit on the basis of Altera FPGA, in which the law of pulse phase deviation is set digitally, with the help of a pseudorandom number generator. Modeling the pulse generator with the jitter in Quartus II application program is performed and the analysis of pulse delay time distribution is made.
