Abstract. In article the approach to the formal description of the data on spatially-distributed objects municipal geoinformation systems is considered. For this purpose it is offered to characterize spatial position of object in three-dimensional space on the basis of seven topological relations which allow to generate structure from sixteen binary elements. On the basis of these formalizations there is an opportunity to describe topological position of object as the structures, allowing classifying spatial object.
