Abstract. Application of spectral transformation in a system of basic functions to detection of impurities in transuranium elements from their mass-spectra is considered. Mass-spectra of standard samples are used as reference signals. The method is shown to afford detection of an admixture with mass difference of 0,001% from the mass on one of isotopes in a standard sample.
Keywords: mass-spectrometry, isotope analysis, signal processing, system of basis functions.
