Abstract. The problem of linear dimensions inspection of a production-run with the use of computer technologies by “National Instruments” is considered. A method is proposed for improvement of inspection accuracy based on measuring of distance between centers of differentiated distribution of integrated irradiance in shadow image of item under control. Description of laboratory setup layout and virtual control instrument are presented.
