METHOD OF OBSTACLE DETECTION BEFORE A VEHICLE BY STEREO VISION SYSTEM

Abstract. A method is proposed for detection of obstacles before a moving vehicle. The method is based on analysis of images obtained with a binocular system of technical vision. A wide range of detected obstacle and accuracy of obstacle coordinates estimates with the use of the method are reported.
