AUTONOMOUS RELATIVE NAVIGATION OF SPACECRAFTS WITH A SINGLE FREQUENCY GPS RECEIVER

Abstract. A method of relative navigation of space vehicles with a single frequency GPS receiver is described, the results of the experimental data processing are given.The performance of the method of calculation of space vehicles relative position is verified with GPS data from GRACE project. The results of the data processing show a sufficient quality of relative navigation for bases less than 10 km, with percentage of true estimates exceeding 99,5 %.
