Abstract. Mathematical description of two coherent light beams interaction in an interference polarimeter is presented. Optical schematic of interference polarimeter with dual-frequency laser radiation source is described. An analysis of errors in measurement of light wave ellipsometry parameters is carried out. The results make it possible to develop the interference polarimeter hardware in such a way as to minimize the errors in question.
