Abstract. An operator-served pyrometer for detection of overheated wires twisting in electric main is described. The instrument is mounted on a track platform; it includes IR measuring channel, visual optical TV channel, and pointing drive. The overheat detection levels comprise 200, 400, and 600 С held to within 2 C.
