VAPORIZATION KINETICS OF DROPS IN COOLING SYSTEM OF INSTRUMENT COMPONENT UNDER HIGH DENSITY OF HEAT FLOW

Abstract. Conditions of heat exchange between water drops and airflow are analyzed. Relations are obtained which allow for estimation of evaporation duration and drop cooling in the flow. The cooling time is shown to be two orders of magnitude shorter than the full evaporation time, the fact allowing the use of obtained relations for optimization of operation mode of air-evaporation cooling device.
