Abstract. A non-invasive method of near-field high frequency sensing is proposed for investigation of functional activity of biological tissues and organs. Physical and biological principles of the method are described, measuring equipment necessary for the method implementation in a clinic is discussed. The method capabilities are demonstrated by the example of bone growth plate activity measurements in children and teenagers.
Keywords: near-field high frequency sensing, bone growth plate, functional activity of cells and tissues.
