Abstract. The problem of modeling of centrifugal pumps characteristics in space vehicles thermal control systems for various kinds of heat-transfer agents is considered. A relation is derived for determination of the optimal combination of characteristic size of heat removal device of the liquid pump and physical properties of the heatcarrier. A method of physical modeling of the pump characteristics is proposed which allows for achievement of maximal efficiency of heat removal.
