COMPRESSION OF NOISY IMAGES WITH ADAPTIVE WAVELET-CODEC

Abstract. A new method for adaptive wavelet-codec construction based on iterative extraction of coherent structures is presented. The wavelet-codec created with the use of the method is designed for compression of noisy images when static qualities are unknown.
