DIFFRACTION METHOD FOR MEASUREMENT OF ANGULAR AND SPATIAL DISPLACEMENTS

Abstract. A diffraction method of angular and spatial displacements of controllable object is proposed. The method is based on application of amplitude-phase distribution of frequency spectrum of the object. Mathematical formula for irradiance distribution in the image plane is derived. Results of calculations and experiments demonstrate high sensitivity of the method to angular and spatial displacement of controllable object.
