Abstract. Signal detecting procedure for direction-finders based on three types of photodetectors is described. Conditions of maximal effectiveness of the optimal linear filtering are determined in connection with the maximum of signal to interference-plus-noise ratio. The heuristic algorithm of digital signal detection is proposed to be used in direction-finders with matrix photodetector.
