Abstract. Replacement of a convex reflecting surface in afocal system of two spherical mirrors with a plane-convex mirror with internal reflection is shown to allow for compensation for residual spherical aberration of the image at a small residual deviation from isoplanatism conditions. Combination of two-component telescopic lens with the afocal attachment makes it possible to ensure plane-anastigmatic image correction.
