Abstract. A typical process of mold design is analyzed with the use of virtual simulation systems. Advantages of combined application of additive technologies and virtual simulation systems are noted. The possibility to employ additive technologies in calculations performed with CAE-systems for data visualization and in mold manufacturing for plastics and metal powders.
