Abstract. The problem of estimation of a flying vehicle control system characteristics with the use of a limited number of field test is considered. A method proposed to solve the problem is based on priority of the experimental data: the weight assigned to the limited field tests data exceeds the weight of practically unlimited aprioristic information. Analytical expressions for posterior estimations of the control system characteristics are derived.
