Abstract. Methods of control program optimization during its verification in the CAM-system VERICUT environment are described. The optimization is achieved through partitioning of the tool path into segments and determination of cutting mode for each of the segments. Results of testing of the chosen method of optimization of micromilling with Primacon PFM 24 Ngd machine are reported to demonstrate a 10% reduction in processing time.
