Abstract. Structure char and functioning algorithms of a device designed for buildings thematic layer automatic creation based on aerospace images for digital maps of geographic information systems are considered on the presented paper. Dedicated parallel graphic units and pipeline functioning algorithm provide greater computational units capacity and higher performance.
