Abstract. A procedure is proposed for optimization of linear and angular coordinates of electromagnetic emitter to minimize intensity of its radiated field in a given set of sensing points in 3D continuum. The presented solution is based on representation of remote intensity of radiation with covariant tensors of fixed valence depending on spatial and angular orientation of the source.
Keywords: nonlinear regression, covariant tensor of finite valence, quadratic optimization problem.
