Abstract.   The properties and lifetimes of cavity modes in resonant inversionless medium are studied analytically and numerically in semi-classical local and distributed approximation. Increase in the modes lifetime in strongcoupling regime is demonstrated. New effective method of polariton laser pumping is proposed and investigated numerically. Numerical model of laser with narrowband absorber and broadband active medium is developed for ring cavity. Possibility of spectral condensation phenomena is demonstrated with numerical calculations.
Keywords: optical cavity, polaritonic modes, strong coupling.
