STUDY OF MAGNETIC PERMEABILITY OF STEEL SPECIMENS IN UNIFORM ALTERNATING FIELD UNDER TENSILE ELASTIC DEFORMATION

Abstract. A setup for measurement of magnetic permeability of steel specimens under tensile elastic deformation is described. Theoretical background of the approach and the measuring method are presented. Dependence of magnetic permeability components on loadings value, magnitude and frequency of magnetic field, and on the specimen material structure is studied with the use of graphical interpretation of experimental data.
