INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AND SYSTEMS

5
The problem of selection of the minimal set of controlled factors providing definability of specified types of system technical state, and subsequently a desired reliability of decisions made on the system validity is formulated. The proposed solution to the problem is based on the use of characteristics inherent to orthogonal vector systems.
11
Application of variation approach to space vehicles navigation is considered. The boundary problem of optimal estimation of movement parameters is solved with the use of constructive method of approximate correcting operator. A numerical example is presented.
17
The problem of matrix components formation in vector-matrix description of binary dynamic systems for noise-immune code conversion is considered. Representation basis of the matrix components is shown to depend on both checking and formative matrix of noise-immune code, as well as on the generating modular polynomial of the code.

COMPUTING TECHNIQUE

26
The problem of determination of simple cuts in a bipolar structurally complicated network is considered. The proposed approach to the problem uses an algebraic model of the network based on cubic complexes algebra. The method makes it possible to develop a labor-effective procedure for determination of full set of simple cuts.
32
An approach to image quality measurement and image improvement and image quality is described. The proposed approach uses fuzzy logic techniques, especially the method of object edge detection.

ELECTRONIC AND ELECTROMAGNETIC DEVICES

BIOLOGICAL OBJECTS AND TISSUE FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITY DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION Baloshin Yury A. , Anatoly A. Sorokin, Aleksey V. Arsenev, Alexander Volchenko, Michael G. Dudin
37
A non-invasive method of near-field high frequency sensing is proposed for investigation of functional activity of biological tissues and organs. Physical and biological principles of the method are described, measuring equipment necessary for the method implementation in a clinic is discussed. The method capabilities are demonstrated by the example of bone growth plate activity measurements in children and teenagers.
43
A novel device to be used in specialized hospital aimed at treatment of mass injury of people as a result of extraordinary situation is developed. The biomedical device is designed for pain syndrome relief, shock prevention, quick regeneration of bone and muscular tissue, blood microvessels, etc.
46
Variance of quantization noise at the output of digital differentiating filter is shown to increase drastically with the filter order. Intermediate summation of input signal counts is proposed to reduce the quantization noise effect on derivative calculation errors.
51
Schematic of voltage-digital converter with summation of equal currents at ladder-type attenuator is proposed. The converter may be used in feedback circuit of precision digital voltmeter. Experiments carried out with a four-decade converter give ratio error of less than 0,01 %.

OPTICAL AND OPTOELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTS AND SYSTEMS

55
Invariants are considered which allow for simplification of parameters calculation of optical-electronic system with anamorphic check element. Dependence of sensitivity of torsion angle measuring system on anamorphosing parameters is studied.
AN ADVANCED DEVICE FOR FAST MEASUREMENT OF ANGLE DEPENDENCE OF LASER BEAM REFLECTION Aleksey S. Ivanov, Vasiliy V. Manukhov, Alexander B. Fedortsov, Yury V. Churkin
61
Two optical-mechanical installations realizing the fast variation of angle of laser beam incidence upon a steady sample surface with subsequent registration of reflected beam intensity are described. Application of spherical lenses or mirrors instead of the elliptic ones lowers the device cost significantly.

HEAT REGIMES AND RELIABILITY OF INSTRUMENTS AND SYSTEMS

65
Effectiveness of cooling of heat-exchange surfaces by air-droplet flow is analyzed. Approaches to realization of the method in autonomous refrigerator systems are discussed.

INSTRUMENT-MAKING TECHNOLOGY

69
Technology of polymeric self-organized microelements formation on optical fiber end in limited reaction volume is described. The losses in the optical coupling channel and their sources are investigated.
PROSPECTS OF PROGRESS IN OPTICS OF THIN FILMS Putilin Edvard Stepanovich, Gubanova Lyudmila Alexandrovna
75
The basic problems of multilayered coating design and manufacturing are discussed. The coatings in question are deposited to achieve desired energetic characteristics of optical elements and waveforms of transmitted and reflected radiation.

BRIEF NOTES

82
Various ways of stereoscopic system construction and algorithms of position evaluation in such systems are discussed.
83
A methods is proposed for detection of illegal load in interwall room of international-class coaches with the use of a modified night vision device. The method makes it possible to estimate quickly the illegal load volume.
