ALGORITHMIC AND METHODOLOGICAL BASIS OF IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT

7
A method is proposed for localization of a geospatial object shadow in aerospace image. The method makes it possible to increase the accuracy of thematic layers formation in electronic charts of geoinformation system on the base of aerospace images. The improvement is obtained through elimination of false objects caused by the shadows with the use of digital image processing methods.
14
An approach is considered to group analysis of cartographic objects based on topological relations. A concept of array of topological relations matrices is introduced, the matrices containing information on correlation between the objects. The approach makes it possible to perform objects selection in accordance with given rules.
19
An algorithm is described of fractal approximation for compression of images obtained with opto-electronic system of production quality control. Application of fractal distribution for increased data archivation rate is substantiated. Results of practical application of the algorithm in real manufacturing work conditions are presented.
22
Rank algorithms for small-sized object selection from a sequence of TV images are analyzed. The problem of resolution of closely set small-sized objects against a complex background is considered.
COMPLETE COMPUTER-ADDED PROCESSING OF ULTRASOUND HEART IMAGES SEQUENCE Sultan S. Sadykov, Сафиулова И. А., Maxim I. Tkachuk
27
Development of computer-added system for complete processing and analysis of ultrasound images is discussed. The proposed system has a modular structure. Each of the modules performance is described and peculiarities of realized algorithms are observed. Several results obtained with the system are presented and comparative analysis of the data is given.

A method is proposed for detection of obstacles before a moving vehicle. The method is based on analysis of images obtained with a binocular system of technical vision. A wide range of detected obstacle and accuracy of obstacle coordinates estimates with the use of the method are reported.
LIGHT SCATTERING EFFECT ON TELEVISION IMAGE Yury R. Kirpichenko, Ivan N. Pustynsky
38
Improved relations between irradiance distributions across optical image and initial object are obtained for the case when object-to-lens distance and spacing between the lens and image plane are commensurable. Effect of light scattering on image properties at sensitive plane of TV transducer is studied.
ELIMINATION OF NOISE FORMATIONS IN VIDEO SYSTEM WITH HIGH-SENSITIVE TV TRANSDUCER Igor V. Galchuk, Anatoly G. Kostevich, Mikhail I. Kouryatchy
42
An algorithm is proposed for effective elimination of scintillations observed in video system on the base of high-sensitive TV receiver with electro-optical transducer.
47
Various approximations for irradiance distribution across diffusion disk of non-aberrational lens are considered. Contrast in the image of two point sources at minimal resolved separation is calculated and accuracy of results for each of the approximations under examination is analyzed.
