A technique of calculating reflected solar radiation magnitude of the International Space Station (ISS) is presented. The method is based on the use of the brightness factor as an optical characteristic of the light reflected by the station and description of the reflecting surface as a superposition of cylindrical, conical, spherical and flat elements. An algorithm and software for calculation of the ISS magnitude as a function of the station and observer orientation angles are developed. The results of calculation are compared with data obtained from the Internet and special measurements.
