Abstract. A modified Paley method for calculation of Mersenne matrix of arbitrary order equal to a prime number is presented. An example of Mersenne matrix calculation is analyzed. Comparison of Mersenne matrices obtained with the use of the modified Sylvester and Paley methods is carried out. Effectiveness of the proposed method is analyzed with respect to the universal procedure of M-matrix retrieval.
