Abstract. The problem of distant recording and recognition of speech for the task of voice interaction with automatic inquiry system in noisy environment is considered. The system perceives and analyses sounds arising from limited subspace due to spatial localization of sound sources. The test results of three methods for determination of direction to the sound source with using several microphone array schemes are presented.
Keywords: distant speech recognition, microphone array, multimodal interface.
