Abstract. Questions of the analysis of thermal and vibrating fields are considered. By the example of the electric machine the degree of their correlation and an opportunity of application for monitoring a technical condition and diagnostics of defects of executive mechanisms is determined. The technique which can form a basis for diagnosing electromechanical devices on parameters of temperature and vibrations is offered.
