Abstract. Nonlinear distortion of signal introduced by electron amplifier is investigated theoretically. Nonlinear distortion factor is calculated for a harmonic input signal. For a specified volt-ampere characteristic, the effect of operation point position on the nonlinear distortion level is analyzed.
