Abstract. A procedure is proposed for distributed parallel-conveyer barrier synchronization for uniform multiprocessor systems. The procedure is applicable to the class of matrix topological structures and is independent of placement pattern of the synchronized processes in the system. Results of simulation modeling of the procedure are presented.
