Abstract. The inverse spectroscopy problem (restoration of the true spectrum from a measured spectrum with a known instrument function of the spectrometer by solving the first-kind Fredholm integral equation) is considered. Tikhonov regularization method is used to obtain a stable numerical solution to the being ill-posed problem equation, and the regularization parameter is chosen on the base of solutions for referent model problems. Numerical examples are presented.
