Abstract. One of the actual problems in the field of development of fuzzy logic devices and systems – hardware realization fuzzy information systems is concerned. Disadvantages of microprocessor devices for fuzzy information processing are considered. Application perspectives of fuzzy logic devices based on space-distributed optical technologies of information processing are discussed, an example of hardware implementation – optical fuzzyfication device is described. The main advantages of the use of optical fuzzy logic information processing devices are analyzed.
