Abstract.   Realization of heterodyne holographic interferometry with the use of two-frequency radiation is considered. This approach to displacement of the optical frequencies of restored interfering waves makes it possible to use a single reference beam to record the hologram. To implement the principle, waves with different optical frequencies and orthogonal polarizations in conjunction with the shift interferometry are applied. Basic mathematical relations for output signal parameters are derived. Time variant signal is generated and the signal phase containing information on the displacement vector is determined.
Keywords: holographic interferometry, interferometer, diffusely reflecting object.
