Abstract. The problem of checking of control system characteristics against specified technical requirements is considered in the case when the system prototypes to be tested are limited in number. It is shown that the problem may be reduced to checking of a multidimensional statistical hypothesis concerning distribution parameters. A method is proposed for approximate solution of the problem allowing for increase in reliability of decision on consistency of various characteristics of the system with the specified requirements based on a limited number of field tests.
