Several problems of laser radiation interaction with biological tissues are considered. Perspective applications of diagnostic lasers are discussed: gas analyzers on the base of tunable laser diodes in the middle IR, coherent high-resolution tomography on the base of wide-band light sources, and terahertz tomography.

Information on stressedly-deformed state of human eye is considered as a mean for ophthalmological diseases diagnostics. A mathematical model of eye stress is proposed. Results of modeling of inteferometric pattern for polarized light are presented.

A complex of instruments for simultaneous analysis of respiration and cardiac activity in human body is described. The complex consists of respiration characteristics measuring instrument and analyzer of cardiac rhythms “Expert - 01” combined in an integrated system. Results of investigation of interaction of respiratory and cardio-vascular systems are presented.

Employment of fiber optic illuminator with frustrated total internal reflection in water disinfection devices is considered. Results of experimental modeling of illuminator in the form of multimode fiber coil are presented. Problems of practical realization of fiber optic illuminator are discussed.

An original approach is proposed to realization of invariant opto-electronic instrument for measurement of velocity of lengthy object movement. Distinctive feature of the approach consists in application of dual-channel outline of image analysis with the use of cross-channel links to compensate for errors caused by optical nonhomogeneity of the object surface.

Development of holographic methods and instruments for control over stressedly-deformed state of diffusely reflecting object adapted to employment in automated measuring systems is discussed. A concept design is proposed of a system for measuring local slopes of the object surface with optical processing of double-exposed holographic interferograms.

An experimental setup for pulsed laser pump lamp testing is described. Results are presented of experimental study of cooling conditions effects on generation spectrum and heat emission power of pump lamp.

Представлены результаты моделирования тепловых и гидродинамических полей в радиоэлектронном аппарате кассетного типа. Сопоставлены результаты расчетов с использованием программы, разработанной на основе метода конечных элементов, и расчетов по программе, реализующей метод поэтапного моделирования.

Computer simulation of thermal and hydrodynamic fields in electronic cassette-type apparatus is performed. Results of calculations on the base of finite elements method are compared with step-by-step modeling.

Peculiarities in heat exchange through enclosure in static and dynamic regimes are considered. Temperature oscillation inside and outside a construction are measured experimentally. Analysis of correlation of the measuring data is carried out.

Thermal conductivity of polymer materials filled with glass microspheres is calculated. Increasing the filler concentration is shown to lead to a rise in the composite thermal conductivity. Calculated results are compared with experimental data.

A method is proposed for laser texturing of solid material surface to enhance its adhesion to polymers. Laser texturing is shown to practically increase shearing force by a factor of three.

The problem of metal melting under exposure to ultra short laser pulses is considered. A modified vacancional model of melting is proposed. Analysis of laser-induced melting on the base of the model explains such peculiarities of the process as constancy of metal surface temperature and energy flux toward the front of melting with zero gradient of temperature across the melted layer.

Regime of ultraspeed switchdown of high-voltage MOP-transistor with a switching time no greater than several nanoseconds is studied theoretically. A mathematical model and explanation of the ultraspeed process is proposed. The theoretical conclusions are confirmed by results of direct experiments.
