AUDIO DATA ANALYSIS USING WAVELET FUNCTIONS Evgeniy Piunovsky, Tropchenko Andrey A.
3
Applications of wavelet functions in digital sound processing are considered. Advantages of wavelet transforms over traditional analytical methods are demonstrated. Capabilities of wavelet-analysis in audio data filtration and compression are investigated.

COMPUTING TECHNIQUE

ARRANGEMENT OF MACHINE-MACHINE DATA EXCHANGE IN BACKUP COMPUTER COMPLEX Bogatyrev Vladimir A, Golubev Ivan Yu, Bezzubov Vladimir F
8
Reliability analysis of two-machine computer complex is carried out for various approaches to machine-machine data exchange arrangement. Advantages are demonstrated of the exchange on the base of double direct memory access.

ELECTRONIC AND ELECTROMAGNETIC DEVICES

14
Analytical expressions and algorithms are developed for calculation of quasi-resonant frequencies of ladder-type phasing RC-circuits of various configurations.
19
Variants of construction of reduction tract of pulse-phase self-tuning frequency loop are considered. Amplification coefficients for noise accompanying input referent oscillation, which fall within the loop transparency band, are defined, and methods of the noise reduction are proposed.
27
Description of construction of multielement electrical capacitor converters designed to improve accuracy and reliability of estimation of crude emulsion structure of a water oil emulsion in a wide range of water content in oil is presented.

OPTICAL AND OPTO-ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTS AND SYSTEMS

32
Results of investigation of effective energetic sensitivity to shift of photo-receiving module in systems with polychromatic optical equisignal zone are presented. Application of the energetic sensitivity criterion for polychromatic optical equisignal zone systems is shown to be of particular efficiency for optimal choice of emitting, photosensitive, and optical components.
36
The problem of image transmission by a light beam under collinear diffraction of the beam on acoustic wave in crystal is considered. The law of image transformation, the transfer function, and other characteristics of collinear acousto-optical filter are derived for the general case; approximation of weak birefringence is not used.
THE CORRECTION PARAMETER ANALYSIS IN THREE-COMPONENT OPTICAL SYSTEM Gayvoronsky Stanislav V, Zverev Victor Alexeevich
42
A method of parametric synthesis of three-component optical system based on theoretical parametrical model is described. The shielding factor for the system is shown to take values from 0.382 to 0.634, and thus the optical system may be applied in the case of off-axis ray path, when the system pupil is free of shielding.
A NONCONTACT PNEUMATIC-OPTICAL METHOD OF INTRAOCULAR PRESSURE MEASUREMENT Trofimov Vladimir A., Nagibin Yuri T., Maria Shvanova
47
A noncontact method for measuring intraocular pressure is developed. The method employs pneumatic impact on the corneas and is based on described physical and mathematical model of the effect.
51
Peculiarities of application of laser engraving to micron-sized structure formation and production of optical microelements such as lattice micro-prism are investigated. Physical limitations on microstructure writing are discussed; examples of concrete elements production are presented.

HEAT REGIMES AND RELIABILITY OF INSTRUMENTS AND SYSTEMS

56
An analytical description of transient temperature field of convex isothermal body heated by an inner source is obtained for the case of a constant temperature of surrounding medium. The description is shown to be inapplicable for cooling processes.
OPTIMIZATION OF CONSTRUCTION OF COOLING SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONIC MODULE Gavriil Biryulin, Vladimir I. Egorov , Svyatoslav Yu. Murov, Igor V. Nevsky
61
Construction of bimetallic (copper – aluminum) soldered radiator for effective cooling of electronic elements with high irregularity of thermal flux is considered. A method for optimization of the radiator design is presented.
65
A method is proposed for estimation of reliability (failure-free operation time) of structurally redundant device entering an avionics technical system complex. Comparative analysis of calculation models used for redundant device with average statistical reliability indexes is presented.

HISTORY OF OPTICS

70
A brief history of optical lens development is considered, starting from elementary device made of quartz and introduced into eye socket of sculpture of sovereign or sacred animal of archaic civilization, and up to modern adaptive liquid-crystal lens implanted in human eye for cataract treatment. Basic stages of lens development in the eras of archeological optics, reading stones manufacturing, and invention of spectacles are described.

BRIEF NOTES

80
Check and form matrix of systematic noise-free codes banks are formed with the use of non-degenerate matrix multiplicative components.
