RECOGNITION OF CONTINUOUS COMPLEX-VALUED CONTOURS OF IMAGES Rinat G. Khafizov, Sergey A. Okhotnikov
3
A mathematical model of continuous contour is developed. Problems of quantization of continuous contours of images are studied. Comparative characteristics of probability of true recognition for continuous and quantified elementary contours are derived.
9
For the space of linear devices for recurrent transformation of binary codes, the problem of the space structure switching with the use of nonlinearly generated signal is considered. Algorithms of synthesis of the devices under consideration are proposed. An illustrative example is presented.
18
A method is proposed for estimation of probability-temporal characteristics of queuing network with the use of mathematical tools of tensor calculus. The method is shown to allow for analysis of high dimensionality networks.

DEVICES AND SYSTEMS OF AUTOMATIC CONTROL

24
A hydrodynamic test bench is designed for testing of starting devices of uninhabited small-sized submersibles in the industrial premises conditions. The test bench allows imitation of deep-water start of underwater apparatus at an angle to the horizontal. A method for estimation of overall dimensions of a test bench under development is proposed.
29
The theory of sensitivity transfer function is applied for analysis of diagnostic model of propulsion electrical installation. The approach allows for construction of algorithm for checking the the model efficiency.

GYROSCOPIC AND NAVIGATION SYSTEMS

34
An algorithm of secondary processing of radar navigation measurements is considered. A method is proposed for estimation of the algorithm sensitivity to disturbances of observation model and to errors in input data. The method makes it possible to make a conclusion on input data scope and quality required by the secondary processing task.
40
Effects of nonlinear factors on dynamics of single-mass and two-mass microelectromechanical (MEMS) gyroscopes are analyzed. Higher consistency of two-mass MEMS gyroscope performance as compared with single-mass one is justified.

FINE MECHANICS DEVICES

47
A method combining surface burnishing by indenter of ultrasonic oscillations with subsequent drawing of a regular micro relief (RMR) by vibration rolling is proposed. Results of comparative tests of the method and existing technologies of face hardening with the use of ultrasonic oscillations are presented.
APPLICATION OF AN IMPROVED NIGHT-VISION DEVICE TO DETECTION OF UNOBSERVED OBJECTS Виноградова А. А., Altyn Zh. Esbulatova, Kirill N. Voinov
52
Possibility of an improved night-vision device application to diagnostic control of unobserved object under natural and artificial illumination is considered. Several variants of obtained image digitization with the use of MatLab program package are proposed.

OPTICAL AND OPTO-ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTS AND SYSTEMS

56
Main tendencies in improvement of basic components of infrared systems of the 3rd generation are described. The components under consideration include photo detectors, cooling systems, and optical systems.
64
A method of paraxial ray tracing in nonhomogeneous media with refraction index depending on the three coordinates is considered. The possibility of calculation of paraxial segments and 3rd order aberration coefficients in optical system with inhomogeneous lenses is demonstrated by the example of a lens with sphere-concentric refraction index distribution.
COMPUTER-ADDED HIGH-PERFORMANCE LASER INTERFEROMETER FOR TRANSPARENT FILMS THICKNESS MEASUREMENT Igor V. Gonchar , Aleksey S. Ivanov, Vasiliy V. Manukhov, Alexander B. Fedortsov
73
Principles of interferometric measurement of transparent layer thickness are formulated. A description of optical-mechanical tract, electronic circuit, and software of a modernized interferometer is given. Mathematical justification of the measurement principles and electronic scheme of the signal registration are presented. A PC program for data processing is described in details.
PECULIARITIES OF MULTIFREQUENCY GENERATION OF ERBIUM LASER RADIATION Mikhail Inochkin, Viacheslav V. Nazarov, Dmitry Sachkov, Olga Sidorova, Khloponin Leonid V, Khramov Valery Yu.
79
Results of theoretical and experimental investigation of multi-wave generation dynamics of diode-pumped Er:YLF-laser with non-uniform pumping and loses distribution are presented. Generation at the wavelengths of 2.66, 2.71, 2.81, and 2.84 μm is obtained.
85
Experimental data are employed for derivation of analytical formulas for calculation of atmospheric transmittance in two IR operation ranges. The formulas provide approximate transmittance value independent of the visible range in each of five specified climatic zones.
