A hydrodynamic test bench is designed for testing of starting devices of uninhabited small-sized submersibles in the industrial premises conditions. The test bench allows imitation of deep-water start of underwater apparatus at an angle to the horizontal. An algorithm of secondary processing of radar navigation measurements is considered. A method is proposed for estimation of the algorithm sensitivity to disturbances of observation model and to errors in input data. The method makes it possible to make a conclusion on input data scope and quality required by the secondary processing task.

A method of paraxial ray tracing in nonhomogeneous media with refraction index depending on the three coordinates is considered. Results of theoretical and experimental investigation of multi-wave generation dynamics of diode-pumped Er:YLF-laser with non-uniform pumping and loses distribution are presented. Generation at the wavelengths of 2.66, 2.71, 2.81, and 2.84 μm is obtained.

Experimental data are employed for derivation of analytical formulas for calculation of atmospheric transmittance in two IR operation ranges. The formulas provide approximate transmittance value independent of the visible range in each of five specified climatic zones.
