Abstract. Optical laser-based rangefinders are considered, in which measurements are carried out not by the time of arrival of the pulse reflected from the object, but by convolution of the reflected and reference signals. The position of the resulting signal on the time axis determines the time of arrival of the reflected oscillations and the object distance. Due to the optimal processing of the received signal, the accuracy and the rangefinder performance increase.
