The problem of refinement of atmospheric model in a given altitude range based on sounding data is considered. Vertical profiles of atmospheric thermodynamic parameters are represented in the form of canonical expansion with known mathematical expectation, mean square deviation, and coordinate functions in nod altitude values. An approach is proposed for calculation of corrections to atmospheric model parameters at altitude above the upper limit of sounding region.
11
An algorithm for description and processing of meteorological data is proposed. The algorithm is based on algebraic approach; it allows to accelerate meteorological data processing and to reduce the necessary computational resources.
15
A procedure of video masking encoding with the use of M-matrices as an orthogonal basis is considered. Two-level orthogonal symmetrical M-matrices are proposed for utilization on the stage of image spectral expansion. The M-matrices applied in the procedure are of order equal to Mersenne sequence for which Hadamard matrices do not exist.

DEVICES AND SYSTEMS OF AUTOMATIC CONTROL

20
An algorithm of control over objects under parametric uncertainty, perturbations, and restriction to input signal amplitude is synthesized. A method is proposed for signal formatting in such a way as to ensure the control function to be bounded in a given range. Limiting requirements on parameters of object under control, reference model, and regulator to ensure the control system efficiency are formulated. Results of modeling for the case of linear object are presented.
26
The possibility of construction of a turbocompressor protection system based on experimental data on surging is considered. The system allows for simultaneous control over a specified set of parameters of gas pressure and temperature in the air-gas tract.

COMPUTING TECHNIQUE

29
Approaches to optimization of computational algorithms of electrocardiographic signals processing based on extreme correlation method are discussed. An algorithm allowing for tenfold decrease of computation time at retained signal processing quality indicators is proposed, the algorithm is reported to meet the requirements of high-resolution electrocardiography.
39
Verification of computational processes with graphical-analytical models driven by partially defined Boolean functions is considered. The problem under study consists in application of Boolean control box and cubic coatings to searching of undeclared capabilities and dead code as a result of don`t care. Examples of coatings for Boolean graph are presented, as well as verification of don`t care as a coating conjunction of relations-inequalities.

A method is proposed for estimation of dependence between primary measuring capacitor sensor output signal and density of grain flow based on neural network technologies. Description of the method and results of investigation are presented.

OPTICAL AND OPTO-ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTS AND SYSTEMS

Peculiarities of adjustment of compound mirrors of large-aperture telescopes are considered. A mathematical model and an algorithm of compound mirror adjustment with the use of calibration method are proposed.

An optical-electronic gas analyzed is developed on the base of optical absorption spectroscopy method for measurement of nitrogen dioxide concentration in motor vehicle emission. Technical characteristics of radiation source and detectors used in the analyzer are outlined; optical scheme of the instrument is presented. Advantages of the new detector over the classical one are described.

Formation of micro-and nano-scale periodic structures on the surface of SiO2/Si system with the use of nanosecond laser pulses is investigated. Exposure of experimental samples to ultraviolet ArF laser pulse (193 nm) is shown to produce periodic wave-like structures on the surface. The dependence of the surface topology of SiO2/Si system on the laser pulse energy density and on the number of pulses is studied.
