An approach is proposed to the problem of data consistency checking and estimation of alternative probabilities. The approach is based on conversion of stochastic preferences cycle into a fragment of knowledge in algebraic Bayesian network and subsequent probabilistic-logic decision. The proposed approach may be used in development of decision-making system support.
8
Problem of ordering of basic combinatorial objects is considered. Solutions to straightforward and inverse problems of combinations ordering are presented.
12
An algorithm is developed for localization of boundaries between early and late wood areas in digital images of wood samples. The algorithm is shown to be optimal with respect to maximal credibility criterion. A hardware and software complex is described which realizes the proposed algorithm. Quality characteristics of results obtained with the complex are presented.
17
Application of spectral transformation in a system of basic functions to detection of impurities in transuranium elements from their mass-spectra is considered. Mass-spectra of standard samples are used as reference signals. The method is shown to afford detection of an admixture with mass difference of 0,001% from the mass on one of isotopes in a standard sample.
22
An approach is proposed to estimation of intensity of work of a computer operator. The approach is based on application of an automated questionnaire. Requirements imposed upon such a questionnaire are discussed; a variant of the questionnaire is suggested which consists of special images demonstrated to operator under examination. Influence of time interval between the tests is investigated.

DEVICES AND SYSTEMS OF AUTOMATIC CONTROL

AUTONOMOUS CONTROL OVER SMALL SPACECRAFT APPROACHING ORBITAL OBJECT Vitaly K. Semenikhin, Dmitry V. Kirichenko
27
Problem of autonomous control over a small spacecraft when it approaches an orbital object is considered. The second spacecraft is supposed to be equipped with on-board optic-electronic instrument to measure visual angles and laser range finder.
30
A method is proposed for control over relative movement of a space vehicle in a zone of direct visibility of an orbital object. The method makes use of angular co-ordinates of observed orbital object measured with passive on-board instruments. The proposed method is based on dual control principles and accounts for hindrance action.
CROSS-TALK PROBLEM IN DYNAMIC SYSTEMS OF THE “2D INPUT — OUTPUT” CLASS WITH DUPLICATE CHANNELS Evgeny D. Likholetov, Ushakov Anatoly Vladimirovich, Artyom Tsventarny
35
The performance of a dynamic system of the “2D input – output” class with duplicate channels is shown to retain provided that argument of rotation matrix of cross-talk links does not exceed phase stability margin for a separate channel of the system. A method is proposed to increase the stability in scalar polynomial dynamic models.
43
The problem of attainability domain derivation for an aircraft is considered. A method is proposed to take into account perturbations of unknown statistical characteristics. The attainability domain is derived point by point on the base of a subsidiary conflict problem solved with the use of proposed iteration algorithm. A program is developed which realizes the method and demonstrates effectiveness of its application.

GYROSCOPIC AND NAVIGATION SYSTEMS

50
A method for estimation of calibration coefficients of an inertial navigation system is proposed. The method employs a mathematical model of system errors. Realization of the method calls for turning the system to specified fixed positions with the use of calibration table and subsequent evaluation of the calibration coefficients.
NOISE CHARACTERISTICS FOR ANGULAR MOLECULAR-ELECTRONIC TRANSDUCERS Dmitry L. Zaytsev, Vadim M. Agafonov, Anna S. Shabalina
55
Bias instability of a new type of tiny molecular-electronic angular accelerometer is measured at a fixed temperature. Theoretical estimation of random deviation rate coefficient for a miniature molecular-electronic rate sensor is derived on the base of Allan variance technique. Comparison of self-noise level of the molecularelectronic rate sensor with noise characteristics for gyros of different types is performed.

OPTICAL AND OPTO-ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTS AND SYSTEMS

60
A method is developed for calculation of laser Doppler anemometer signal caused by light scattered at a particle of the size of the order of or larger than the sounding light beam cross-section. The method employs the concept of virtual receiver in the frames of geometric optics for a spherical particle. Formulae for evaluation of virtual receiver parameters for various order of scattering are presented. Effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrates by comparison of simulated signal with experimentally obtained one.
TESTING OF OPTIC-ELECTRONIC ONBOARD SPACE OBSERVING SYSTEMS Vsevolod D. Smirnov, Irina V. Knoroz, Svetlana E. Gersanova, Aleksander Е. Bendugovsky
66
An original technological process of alignment, adjustment, and metrological attestation of a Russian-made spaceborne thermovision apparatus is presented.

HEAT REGIMES AND RELIABILITY OF INSTRUMENTS AND SYSTEMS

70
The problem of temperature field in thermostable substrate of a microcircuit chip is analyzed with the use of finite-difference methods. Results of digital modeling of 2D non-stationary temperature field with the account for actual heat exchange mechanisms for proportional temperature regulator of a hybrid-film micro thermostat.
75
Application of bismuth-based gradient heat flux sensors in physical and industrial experiments. Novel gradient heat flux sensors of improved thermal endurance are designed and tested. Basic compositions used in the sensors and their characteristics are presented. Perspective employment of the sensors at temperatures of up to 1300 K is considered.
