SCHEMATIC AND DESING DEVELOPMENT OF SPACE VEHICLE ELEMENTS

ANALYSIS OF OPERATION MODES OF QUASI-RESONANT VOLTAGE CONVERTER Nikolay N. Goryashin, Mikhail V. Lukyanenko, Alexander Yu. Khoroshko, Anna A. Solomatova
7
Theoretical and experimental analysis of operation modes of a quasi-resonant voltage converter is presented. The effect of variable component of output inductor current on the converter regulation curve is studied. Two modes of operation under zero-current switching are considered.
13
Problems of unification of interface modules of space vehicle onboard control system equipment are considered. Peculiarities of onboard interface unit design on the base of interface modules of various functionality are described. Examples of solutions for several interface modules unification problems are presented.
ELECTROSTATIC RELAY ON THE BASE OF MICROELECTROMECHANICAL TECHNOLOGY Ivan A. Afinogenov, Alexander V. Konkin, Pavel B. Enns, Alexander N. Kapustin
18
Principles of design of low-current microrelays and microswitches to be used in space vehicle equipment are reviewed. Reduction of mass and size, dynamic and power characteristics of onboard satellite switches is a continuously actual problem. Switches created with the use of microelectromechanical systems represent a sophisticated innovative idea for perspective satellites relay-applying technologies.
24
The problem of modeling of centrifugal pumps characteristics in space vehicles thermal control systems for various kinds of heat-transfer agents is considered. A relation is derived for determination of the optimal combination of characteristic size of heat removal device of the liquid pump and physical properties of the heatcarrier. A method of physical modeling of the pump characteristics is proposed which allows for achievement of maximal efficiency of heat removal.
ON ABSOLUTE STABILITY OF PROCESSES IN SOLAR ARRAY SIMULATOR Enis A. Mizrakh, Alexander S. Sidorov
28
Conditions for absolute stability of processes in solar array simulator are considered. The absolute stability is shown to be determined by a relation between the simulator and load admittances.
33
A complex method is developed for alloy grade identification at input and operational control of metal components of high-energy power plants. Three nondestructive tests are applied: thermo-electromotive force measuring, the vortex-current and the magnetic methods. Hidden faults of incoming castings are revealed with X-ray examination.

EXPERIMENTAL TESTING OF SPACE VEHICLE ELEMENTS

38
A method is proposed for processing of endurance test results for a small sample of electromechanical devices aimed at detection of abnormal observations and data correction to improve the forecast accuracy of the resource.
ON MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF ELECTRICAL TESTING OF COMMUNICATION SATELLITES Sergey G. Kochura, Nikolay A. Kuznetsov, Alexander A. Nosenkov
43
The current mathematical model recommended for space technique testing is shown to have significant shortcomings. A new model is proposed which is free of the defects and combines the existing model advantages with improvements proposed by the authors to increase the model complexity and practical value of the model as applied to electrical testing of space communication apparatus.
47
Peculiarities of mathematical problems of experimental design in development of electronic devices for space apparatus operating under equal conditions are analyzed.
51
Results of application of experimental design methods to formation of learning sample for neural network are presented.
51
A principle of organization of investigation of components of onboard apparatus under the outer space effects.
58
The minimal necessary extent of screening tests for microelectronic products to be used in space vehicle apparatus is determined. The proposed approach allows for reduction of cost of inspection tests carried out to ensure reliability of the apparatus and the space vehicle as a whole.

MATHEMATICAL METHODS OF ESTIMATION OF SPACE VEHICLE ELEMENTS DEVELOPMENT RESULTS

63
An architecture is proposed for EDA-system with no unified model of analyzed device. Instead of the unified model, the system incorporates a set of elementary models with separate calculation process assigned for each of them. The calculation processes are carried out in a distributed virtual computing machine, and asynchronous message exchange between the processes is performed along the routs determined by initial system topology. The proposed approach allows to avoid the impact of nonlinearities on modeling accuracy.
67
A new method of hypothesis testing on identity of distributions of random variables is proposed. The method is based on application of nonparametric algorithms of pattern recognition and collective estimation principles. Results obtained with the method are compared with Kolmogorov — Smirnov criterion.
NONPARAMETRIC ALGORITHM OF AUTOMATIC CLASSIFICATION OF STATISTICAL DATA Alexander V. Lapko, Vasily A. Lapko, Alexey N. Khlopov
73
A nonparametric algorithm of automatic classification of statistical data is proposed. The algorithm is based on probability density estimations of Parzen type. Application of the algorithm allows for selection of compact point sets corresponding to unimodal fragments of the probability density.
