SPECTRAL DOMAIN MARKING OF DIGITAL IMAGES Гришин М. В., Tropchenko Alexander Juvenalievich, Wang Jian
5
The problem of image watermarking for multimedia product copyright protection is considered. The new method proposed here is based on a known digital watermarking algorithm, but the watermark is placed in spectral domain to increase its tolerance to marked image compression and transformation. Efficiency of the proposed method as compared with known ones is confirmed by presented quantitative characteristics.
10
A procedure is proposed for optimization of linear and angular coordinates of electromagnetic emitter to minimize intensity of its radiated field in a given set of sensing points in 3D continuum. The presented solution is based on representation of remote intensity of radiation with covariant tensors of fixed valence depending on spatial and angular orientation of the source.

DEVICES AND SYSTEMS OF AUTOMATIC CONTROL

18
The problem of restriction of aircraft movement parameters is considered. Application of control channel selection of is shown to provide an effective mean in development of automatic control system with automatic restriction machines. Several questions related to synthesis of such systems are analyzed. Modeling results are presented.
24
System of nonlinear differential equations for aircraft mass center movement in vertical plane is analyzed for the case of linear path. Estimates are derived for velocity and flight range depending on control restrictions.

COMPUTING TECHNIQUE

29
A procedure is proposed for distributed parallel-conveyer barrier synchronization for uniform multiprocessor systems. The procedure is applicable to the class of matrix topological structures and is independent of placement pattern of the synchronized processes in the system. Results of simulation modeling of the procedure are presented.
34
The problem of logical deduction in intelligence system making use of a great number of facts and rules is considered. The main difficulty with such systems consists in rapid increase of system complexity with the amount of the facts and rules. To avoid the difficulty related to combinatory complexity of logical deduction problem, it is proposed to apply operations of relational algebra over a field of processions of variables. Results of measurement of logical deduction rate in database management system MS ACCESS and in Prolog programming environment
38
The problem of reliability analysis of software in strategic purpose systems and reliability parameters estimation on the base of small number of observations is considered. A method is proposed based on combination of data obtained for various technical objects provided with the software under estimation.

GYROSCOPIC AND NAVIGATION SYSTEMS

42
Schematic design and performance algorithm of cardan-less gyro-horizon-compass is proposed. The device evolves an electrostatic gyroscope and micromechanical sensors and is designed for underwater vehicles navigation systems. Characteristics and level of the instrument errors of orientation parameters derived from hydroacoustic log and bathymetry data are analyzed.
49
Feasibility of successive application of Monte-Carlo method to extreme correlation navigation problem is analyzed with the account for variability of vector under estimation. Peculiarities of the approach are discussed, and an algorithm based on a posteriori (iterated) substantial sampling is proposed.

ELECTRONIC AND ELECTROMAGNETIC DEVICES

55
A method is proposed for determination of tolerance on demodulator parameters in digital communication systems with quadrature gain-phase modulation (e.g., in cable digital TV). An expression is derived connecting demodulator parameter deviation with error probability.
61
A possibility is demonstrated of checking piezoelectric unit with frequency variation measurement in ceramic element mechanical resonance region. Theoretical relations and experimental data are presented.
65
A device is described for photolysis to be carried out inside sensing unit of NMR spectrometer. Flow chart of light pulse synchronization in xenon bulb DKsSH-500 with the spectrometer, and schematic diagram of the bulb power supply and starter are presented.

OPTICAL AND OPTO-ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTS AND SYSTEMS

69
Problems of standard TV modules employment in optical-electronic video-information system are considered. Recommendations are formulated for dimensioning specifications and power consumption calculations in the case of insufficient initial data on photodetector size in unpackaged single-plate cameras.
75
Computer modeling of multiband optical-electronic detection systems is considered. Several problems related to generalized models of separate modules are described. An energetic model of background and target situation for simulation of two-band optical-electronic detection system performance is presented.

A diffraction system is proposed for spectrometric instruments. The system contains a cylindrical mirror in the spectrum formation plane and makes it possible to improve spectral resolution with no increase in mass and size of the system. Experiments carried out with the system reveal fine structure elements in green and blue lines of mercury bulb spectrum.
