GIROSCOPIC AND NAVIGATION SYSTEMS

ANALYSIS OF CURRENT STATE AND PROSPECT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF BOKZ STAR TRACKERS FAMILY Avanesov Genrikh A., Bessonov Roman V., Forsh Anatoly A., Kudelin Mikhail I.
3
The history of development of the BOKZ family of star trackers created at the Optical-Physical department of the Space Research Institute (IKI RAN) is briefly described. Further ways to improve the star trackers using CMOS and PLD are outlined. Various configurations of star trackers with external optical heads are presented. Integration of tri-axial angular velocity sensors based on the MEMS technology into the star trackers is justified.
AUTONOMOUS NAVIGATION SYSTEM OF SMALL SPACECRAFT Aleksey V. Averianov, Konstantin A. Esaulov, Molchanov Oleg E., Belaya Tatiana I.
14
An approach to the problem of maintenance of stable functioning of small spacecraft is considered. The essence of the approach consists in integration of autonomous navigation system into the small spacecraft onboard control complex to allow for measurement of the primary navigation parameters just on board. An algorithm of joint information processing with the use of the least squares method is proposed.
17
A solution to the problem of a posteriori estimation of dynamically changing parameters of angular movement of an object from satellite measurements is presented. Advantages of application of stochastic nonlinear dynamic filtering relative to the cross-sectional dimensions are demonstrated. Effectiveness of the proposed approach is illustrated by an example.
24
Algorithms of fast ambiguity resolution of phase measurements are observed. An approach to selection of carrier frequencies in space navigating system GLONASS is proposed.
27
The problem of estimation of accuracy characteristics of carrier rocket control system by results of field tests under various conditions is considered. A new approach to determination of the operator of the results reduction to uniform conditions is proposed. The approach is shown to improve the estimations accuracy.
ADAPTIVE CONTROL OVER LATERAL MOVEMENT OF AIRCRAFT IN THE LANDING MODE Furtat Igor Borisivich, Khvostova Ksenia A., Denis A. Khvostov
32
A solution to the problem of adaptive control over lateral movement of aircraft in the landing mode is proposed. The control system with a reference model based on modified algorithm of high order adaptation is developed. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the efficiency of the synthesized algorithm.

OPTICAL AND OPTO-ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTS AND SYSTEMS

DISPLACEMENT CONTROL IN OPTICAL-ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS WITH OPTICAL EQUISIGNAL ZONE Konyakhin Igor A., Anton Maraev, Alexander N. Timofeev, Vadim Gusarov
38
Systems with optical equisignal zone for control over spatial location of objects are considered. It is shown that further progress in the system design may be achieved with improvement of its structure and processing algorithms. Obtained equations allow for evaluating of the optical equisignal zone base-plane displacement caused by temperature gradient, as well as the optimal time constant of the system.
44
Methods of evaluation of basic parameters of optical system with variable magnification are considered as applied to replacement of actual system with an equivalent optical system of thin components. It is shown that knowledge of basic characteristics of the components makes it possible to calculate current values of their aberration parameters, to get an idea of variation of the system aberration properties, and therefore to asses the possibility of image improvement by alteration the basic parameters.

SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL DEVELOPMENTS

49
A model of optimal one-dimensional probabilistic sampling of determined or random variable is proposed. The model represents the variable with a set of equal quanta, while the probability of the quantum size reaches the maximal value. Dependence of the optimal quantum size on probability distribution, restriction threshold, and parameter of influence is considered. A model for estimating of quantity of information received by the quantum from environment is introduced.
53
A method of analytic signal generation with the use of phase inverter is proposed. The method allows for an arbitrary constant phase shift in the given frequency range.
56
An effective method of accelerated life tests of friction assembly to assess its resources — the percentage of the residual service lifetime is considered. The technique is based on a “Veer”-type parametric model  of attrition process by wear rate measurement with the use of artificial bases.
61
Two independent methods are used to derive a formula for permanent magnet synchronous motor torque. Full coincidence of obtained expressions is shown.
MODEL OF VISUAL MEASUREMENTS Guzevich Svyatoslav N.
66
Causes of the lack of an adequate model for visual measurements are discussed. A new model of visual measurements is proposed; the model is based on the method of central projection images of objects using a pair of projective coordinate system, which ensured their relativity, determinism, uniqueness and controllability.
