PROBLEMS OF ACTIVITIES IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES Kolbanev Mikhail O., Igor L. Korshunov, Levkin Igor M.
105
Effects of the third technological platform of informatization on the role of information technologies in modern society are considered, the purpose of economic institutions of higher education in training of specialists in information education areas is discussed. The use of the terms "information technology" and "information and economic security" in the educational process in the University of Economic is legitimized.

Various approaches to estimating the operation effectiveness of specialized technical systems with the account for target effect or the degree of achievement of objectives (effectiveness), resource consumption, operativeness, conditions of use and the system technical specifications, economic costs of production, etc. A method of comprehensive evaluation of robotic system effectiveness in collecting and processing of information is proposed. The method is based on the use of developed hierarchy of goals and objectives tree, and the system performance indicators based on the operational-time, operational-resource, and generalized complex models of the system functioning. The generalized complex index of efficiency depends on the ultimate goal of the system and includes the characteristics of various groups (technical, target, resource, etc.). The measure of effectiveness is the probability of achieving the goal. As an example, the effectiveness of unmanned aircraft application for the earth's surface imaging is considered.

Results of analysis of info-logical information software for intellectual support of decision-making in wireless communication systems management are presented. The results can be used as a basis for development of the database structure and implementation of software of information systems of the type under consideration.

The problem of automated ordering of academic books for a university library in the absence of expert assessments is considered. The problem includes selection of necessary publications and determination of desired quantity of the books from obtained catalogs. To solve the problem, an automatic information processing system is proposed. The system supports acquisition of the book fund, ensuring formation of optimal academic books order.

A model is proposed for input flow of information consisting of elementary information fragments, each of the fragment representing a pertinent part of various documents. The pertinence of the processed information document is shown to vary significantly in the range from 70% to 1% or less. An example of the structure of the text information of the document, broken into elementary pieces is presented. It is shown that representation of the document in the form of a Poisson flow allows to solve the planning problem of information processing in the information-analytical system as a problem in the theory of mass service with pertinent fragments being the service requests. The approach is reported to reduce the influence of noise on the quality of the planning process.

COMPUTER TECHNIQUE

A probabilistic model of establishing connection between sender and recipient is proposed for assessing the functional reliability of infocommunication network. In the simulation model, the fact of established connection is determined as the delivery of a call within an allowed time. The time of the call depends on the selected virtual channel from the set of alternative routes taking into account the random distribution of faulty nodes and communication passes in the communication network.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF ERROR-CORRECTING CODING IN WIRELESS NETWORKS OF THE INTERNET OF THINGS Verzun Natalia A., Kolbanev Mikhail O., Kolbanev Alexey M.
143
The processes of communication and energy consumption by the smart things are considered. It is shown that the energy consumption of smart the things depends, among other reasons, on errorcorrecting coding methods, due to the influence of code used on volume of data transmitted over the network, and the complexity of the data block processing algorithms. An approach is proposed for choice of coding procedures, which not only provide reliable data transfer, but also consume a rational amount of energy. An attempt is made to develop a general approach to comparison and selection of methods of errorcorrecting coding of the data, considering not only the requirements to the quality of data delivery, but the volume of energy resources consumed. It is shown that traditional local networks use transfer procedures of error detection and retransmission of erroneous code words, that are not energy efficient. This is due to the fact that energy consumption by processors is less than energy costs associated with the transmission of code words through the physical medium of communication networks and, in particular, essential communication networks. In self-adjusting sensor networks used for smart things connection in the Internet of Things, application of coding procedures correcting errors and thus restricting the number of retransmissions of code words, is desirable. It is supposed that the obtained results may be useful for specialists studying the possibility of increasing the energy efficiency of information technologies, networks and systems.
A PROCEDURE FOR CONFLICT RESOLUTION IN RFID-SYSTEM Tatarnikova Tatiana M., Elizarov Maksim A

A mathematical model of anti-collision process of RFID-tags in discrete time with a random delay of activation markers is proposed. The model allows to estimate the number of tags in range of reader at the time limit of identification. Based on the proposed simulation model of anti-collision Protocol, the range of the random delay values for activation of the labels may be recommend, and importance of the duration of single label reading may be estimated. Results of the model experiments demonstrate advantages of the proposed procedure.
ENERGY PERFORMANCE OF LONG-TERM DATA STORAGE PROCESS Verzun Natalia A., Kolbanev Mikhail O., Poimanova Ekaterina D.
158
The problem of long-term storage of large amounts of digital data is considered. Solutioning to the problem is shown to call for development of new technologies different from those used in real-time operation systems. Characteristics of modern systems, such as time of data recording/reading or time of data access in long-term storage systems recede into the background, while one of the key requirements becomes the ability of technology to provide persistent storage for the specified time at minimum cost of energy. Interdependence of energy and time characteristics of systems long-term storage of digital data are studied.
165
The possibilities of increasing the probability of timely error-free delivery of packet with the use of fragmentation and redundant transmission of copies of packets through multiple channels is analyzed. Investigated effectiveness of redundant data transmission at implementation of multiple access to each channel or group of channels that are grouped for parallel transmission of copies of the packets or their fragments is studied.
RELIABILITY OF MULTI-CLUSTER SYSTEMS WITH REDISTRIBUTION OF THE FLOW OF REQUESTS Bogatyrev Vladimir A, Bogatyrev Stanislav Vladimirovich
171
Distributed computer system under consideration consists of local clusters connected through a network; each cluster receives a separate flow of requests. The possibilities of increasing the reliability of the multi-cluster systems as a result of redistribution of requests between any pair of clusters aimed at adaptation of the system to server failures accumulation and to changes in the flow of requests. Conditions of the system performance are specified with the account for its critical dependence on servers’ overload and to excess of maximum allowable waiting time of requests in the queue.
